The Opportunity
As the Head of PR & Communications, you will be the strategic custodian of Vedanta's corporate reputation and brand equity across global markets. You will lead the vision, development, and execution of integrated public relations, external communications, and brand strategy to position Vedanta as a world-class, responsible, and future-ready natural resources company
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with advertising and creative agencies to conceptualize and execute impactful brand and advocacy campaigns that reinforce Vedanta's purpose and values
- Coordinate with media buying agencies to design and execute targeted media strategies for maximum reach and effectiveness
- Lead media management efforts to build and enhance Vedanta's brand, spotlighting social initiatives, people practices, technology innovations, and sustainability leadership
- Draft press releases, speeches, and strategic content to support media interactions, social media engagement, and leadership communications
- Manage public relations with a strong focus on cultivating relationships with journalists, media houses, and key influencers
- Lead crisis communication strategies, ensuring timely, transparent, and effective responses to reputational risks
- Identify, recommend, and manage Vedanta's participation in key industry events, conferences, and forums to amplify brand visibility and thought leadership
Candidate Profile:
- 1520 years in PR, corporate communications, or brand leadership in large conglomerates or global agencies
- Proven expertise in strategic communications, executive positioning, and stakeholder engagement
- Deep understanding of media ecosystems, ESG communication, and reputation risk
- Experience working closely with Board/Promoter-level leadership in fast-paced environments
