About the Role
The PM Head will be responsible for end-to-end Project handling, including process development, implementation of industry best practices, customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in core project management tools, stakeholder management, risk management, and leadership, preferably in the cleantech or manufacturing domain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Project Schedule, aligning project timelines with contractual obligations and organizational capacity.
- Own the project P&L, including budget control, variance analysis, change order management, and ensuring positive cash flow for all projects.
- Proactively identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks (technical, financial, contractual). Manage all client and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and managing claims/disputes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external clients, financing parties, and regulatory bodies. Provide clear, accurate, and timely reporting to senior management.
- Establish and enforce Project Management Office (PMO) standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) across the project lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor the Project Managers and Project Control teams, fostering a culture of accountability and results-orientation.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless information flow and alignment across all levels.
- Solely responsible for end-to-end execution of Pan-India projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Managing high-value individual projects ranging from 1020 Crore independently, demonstrating strong leadership and accountability.
- Contributing significantly to company performance, supporting overall business operations of an organization with 200+ Crore annual revenue.
- Led project/program reviews with senior leadership, providing comprehensive updates, mitigating risks, and enabling informed decision making.

- Project Margin: Achievement vs. Budgeted Profit Margin across the portfolio.
- Schedule Adherence: Percentage of projects completed within the baseline schedule (measured by On-Time Delivery - OTD).
- Cash Flow: Quarterly and Annual net positive cash flow.
- Risk Mitigation: Number and severity of unmitigated critical risks.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
Qualification
- BE Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- PMP/PGMP certification is preferred.
- 1315 years of experience project management in manufacturing industry.
