Guided by a team of highly skilled professionals, we aim to achieve market leadership in our core areas of focus The Production Head is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and within budget. This role requires a strategic leader who can balance technical shop-floor management with high-level operational planning.

Role Description

Operational Planning: Develop and execute production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory requirements to ensure on-time delivery.

Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste, minimize downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Control department to ensure all products meet industry standards and client specifications.

Budget Management: Oversee the production budget, monitoring expenses related to labor, raw materials, and maintenance to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Resource Management: Manage manpower allocation, identifying skill gaps and coordinating with HR for technical training or recruitment needs.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all shop-floor activities strictly adhere to statutory labor laws, environmental regulations, and safety protocols (OSHA/ISO standards).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering. An MBA in Operations is highly preferred

• Strong expertise in Production Planning and Production Management
• Proven experience in Operations Management and ensuring efficient workflows
• Demonstrated capability in Team Management, including leadership and team development
• Practical knowledge of Budgeting and cost control in production processes
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities
• Educational background in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields is preferred

Experience

10–15 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Experience in the medical devices or healthcare manufacturing industry is advantageous

Key Performance

Production Volume: Meeting or exceeding the daily/monthly output targets.

Downtime Reduction: Minimizing unplanned machine outages through predictive maintenance.

Cost per Unit: Maintaining or reducing the cost of manufacturing without compromising quality.

Safety Record: Maintaining a Zero Accident workplace environment.

Rejection Rate: Keeping the percentage of defective products below the established threshold.
