JSW Sports is looking for a Product Development Head- Goods and Apparel to join their team in Mumbai.
Role Summary
Lead end-to-end product development across footwear and apparel, from concept to commercialization. Own product quality, costing, margins, execution timelines and speed-to-market while working closely with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product development from concept, sampling and BOMs to commercialization.
- Manage costing, tech packs, fit approvals and product development calendars.
- Drive cost optimization, quality and margin targets.
- Ensure adherence to development and GTM timelines.
- Manage and collaborate with vendors and manufacturing partners.
- Work cross-functionally with Design, Sourcing, Merchandising and Marketing teams.
- Identify and resolve development issues to ensure timely execution.
Required
- 8–10 years of experience in apparel, footwear or sports product development.
- Strong understanding of product development and commercialization.
- Proven vendor management and execution experience.
- Strong quantitative skills with a focus on costing and margin optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail and structured problem-solving ability.
- High ownership, adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a startup or build-from-zero environment is a plus.
