Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Define and drive the overall design vision and UI/UX strategy across all digital products
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of UI/UX designers and researchers
- Champion user-centric design principles throughout the product development lifecycle
Product Design & UX Strategy
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholders to translate business goals into engaging user experiences
- Own and maintain the design system and ensure consistency across all interfaces
- Conduct regular UX reviews, usability testing, and user research to inform design decisions
Execution & Delivery
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and interaction models
- Ensure timely delivery of design assets and alignment with sprint cycles and product roadmaps
- Optimize existing user journeys and improve usability and accessibility
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to product and tech teams to ensure design feasibility and scalability
- Present design concepts and ideas to C-level executives and gather feedback to refine outcomes
- Align user experience strategies with branding and marketing objectives
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX, interaction design, tools, and technology
- Promote design innovation and experimentation to push creative boundaries
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the design team
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Proven portfolio showcasing user-centric design and successful product launches
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, responsive design, and accessibility standards
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
