Are you a strategic procurement leader with a passion for driving value, building resilient supply chains, and leading high-performing teams across multiple geographies

We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead our global sourcing and procurement function, shaping long-term category strategies while ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization, supplier performance, and supply continuity.

What You'll Lead

• Develop and execute 3–5-year category strategies across direct and indirect spend categories, including packaging, fleet & material handling equipment & fuel
• Drive procurement transformation through digitalization, leveraging e-Procurement platforms, e-Invoicing, OCR, analytics, and process automation.
• Drive procurement value creation through strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contract management, delivering annual cost savings across terminals, bunkers, equipment, and haulage while enhancing supplier credit terms and payment conditions.
• Optimize procurement efficiency by streamlining sourcing and contracting processes, reducing procurement and contract finalization turnaround times (TAT), and improving overall procurement effectiveness and responsiveness
• Build a resilient supplier ecosystem through vendor qualification, performance management, dual-sourcing strategies, supplier development programs, and risk mitigation plans.
• Serve as the procurement command center during supply chain disruptions, including shortages, port congestion, labor strikes, cyber incidents, and geopolitical challenges.
• Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Business Leadership teams to align procurement strategies with organizational growth objectives and P&L targets.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, shipping laws, ESG commitments, and corporate governance standards.

Experience & qualification

• 12–18+ years of progressive procurement experience in shipping preferably , including 5–8 years leading procurement teams across multiple countries and business locations.
• MBA or Master's Degree in Operations, Strategy, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Professional certifications such as MCIPS/FCIPS or CPSM strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, e-Procurement platforms, Excel, and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
