Job Description

The Key Responsibilities of the Head of Portfolio Value Creation will include but not be limited to -

  • Support Deal Leads on all matters relating to portfolio management including both regular monitoring and follow-on investment and exit management
  • Regular monitoring and analysis of each portfolio company's operational and financial performance and monitoring of industry trends relevant to these companies
  • Build and cultivate relationships with portfolio companies management teams and work closely with teams to help provide strategic guidance and support, including helping them to develop and execute business plans, identifying growth opportunities, identifying areas of improvement and providing access to the firm's resources and networks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other co-investors
  • Working with Deal Leads on all portfolio exit opportunities including:
  • Evaluating exit timing, pricing and returns for the fund - from both a macro industry perspective and company specific perspective.
  • Being involved in negotiations with buyers, their representatives and joint sellers on behalf of the fund.
  • Managing and coordinating on deal execution including working with internal and external legal teams on deal documentation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Portfolio Value Creation should have:

  • 12+ years of experience in Consulting + Operator roles
  • Should have completed their education from a Tier-1 institute
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate market trends, financial data, and operational metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with entrepreneurs, CXO teams and co-investors
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
