Job Description: Head of Performance
Marketing

Basil Communications Pvt. Ltd. is a leading strategic communications firm dedicated to driving
measurable growth for brands. We are expanding our digital footprint and seeking a visionary
leader to spearhead our Performance Marketing division.
The Role:
As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will be the driving force behind our brand's digital
acquisition and retention strategies. You will have the dual responsibility of building a
high-performing team of specialists and delivering exceptional ROI through data-driven
precision. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
Develop and execute the long-term Performance Marketing roadmap for Basil
Communications and its portfolio.
Directly manage large-scale budgets across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Programmatic, and
emerging platforms.
Align marketing objectives with the company's overall P&L and growth targets.
2. Team Building & Management
Recruit, train, and mentor a squad of digital marketing experts (Media Buyers, Analysts,
and Creative Strategists).
Establish KPIs, performance benchmarks, and a culture of continuous learning and
experimentation.
3. Performance & ROI Optimisation
Analyse complex data sets to optimise Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and maximise
Lifetime Value (LTV).
Implement rigorous A/B testing frameworks for ad copy, landing pages, and creative
assets.
Oversee attribution modelling to ensure accurate reporting of channel effectiveness.
4. Executive Collaboration
Provide regular, high-level reports to the MD on division health, growth projections, and
market trends.
Collaborate with the creative and tech teams to ensure seamless full-funnel integration.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Mathematics, or a
related field.
Experience: 78 years in Performance Marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial
capacity.
Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite,
GA4, GTM, and CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce).
Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel/SQL and data visualisation tools
(Tableau/Looker).
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
