Role Description The Head of Operations at Premio Living is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role oversees day-to-day operational activities, including planning, coordinating, and optimizing all interior projects from design through execution and service. The Head of Operations ensures efficient workflows across departments, supervises project timelines, manages vendor and supplier relationships, and monitors resource allocation. The role involves setting performance standards, implementing process improvements, tracking operational metrics, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance requirements. The Head of Operations also collaborates closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business growth and deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution

• Own execution of all projects after design handover.
• Establish project schedules, milestones and accountability.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure timely project completion and handover.
• Drive effective coordination between Design, Production and Site teams.

2. Production

• Own production planning and execution.
• Optimize manpower, machinery and production capacity.
• Improve productivity and machine utilization.
• Reduce wastage, rejection and rework.
• Ensure production is executed exactly to approved drawings and specifications.

3. Installation & Site Execution

• Manage installation teams and site execution.
• Establish installation SOPs and quality checkpoints.
• Improve installation productivity and first-time-right performance.
• Minimize site rework, damage and repeat visits.
• Ensure timely snag closure and project handover.

4. Quality

• Establish and enforce Premio Living quality standards.
• Implement QC checkpoints across production and installation.
• Track defects, rework and customer complaints.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

5. Cost & Productivity

• Control production and installation costs.
• Monitor project-level operational cost and margin leakage.
• Reduce rework, wastage, overtime and inefficient manpower deployment.
• Continuously improve operational productivity.

6. Processes & Systems

• Build scalable SOPs and operating systems.
• Establish project, production and installation dashboards.
• Introduce measurable KPIs and accountability across teams.
• Drive adoption of ERP/project-management systems.
• Build an operations organization that is process-driven rather than person-dependent.

Ideal Candidate

• 12–20 years of experience in furniture, modular interiors, fit-outs, manufacturing, construction or a similar project-driven industry.
• Strong experience managing production and site/project execution.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and installation.
• Process-oriented, data-driven and commercially aware.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable building systems and teams in a growing organization
• Proven experience in a senior operations role, with demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proficiency with project management tools and familiarity with quality and process improvement methodologies is preferred.

Success in the Role

Within 6–12 months, the Head of Operations should establish:
