About The Role

Unreconciled Ltd is a rapidly growing finance function services firm supporting global clients. As we scale from 30 to 70+ employees, we are seeking a Head of Operations to bring structure, ownership, and scalability across the business.

This is a high-impact, execution-focused role working directly with the founder to streamline operations, build systems, and enable efficient growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent & Hiring Operations
  • Build and manage a structured hiring process (screening, interviews, evaluation frameworks)
  • Train and oversee junior HR team members
  • Lead final interview stages and support hiring decisions
  • Manage compensation benchmarking and salary negotiations
  • Design and implement onboarding and induction processes
  • Workforce Planning & Resource Allocation
  • Develop frameworks for allocating employees to client teams effectively
  • Align hiring plans with business growth and client requirements
  • Monitor team capacity and utilisation
  • Introduce structured decision-making for staffing and team assignments
  • Admin, IT & Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee office operations, vendor management, and procurement
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of employees from an infrastructure perspective (devices, access, etc.)
  • Manage internal IT support processes and issue resolution
  • Supervise administrative and support staff
  • Internal Finance & Reporting
  • Take ownership of internal accounting processes
  • Ensure timely monthly management reporting
  • Maintain accurate payroll and financial records
  • Provide visibility on costs, budgets, and cash flow to support decision-making
  • Process & Systems Development
  • Build and document SOPs across hiring, onboarding, admin, and operations
  • Implement tools and workflows to improve efficiency and accountability
  • Drive consistency in internal communication and execution

Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years of experience in operations, business management, or similar roles
  • Strong experience in hiring, process building, and team management
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High ownership mindset with a hands-on approach

Preferred

  • Experience in service-based or consulting businesses
  • Exposure to scaling teams and building operational systems
