We are seeking a disciplined, dynamic, and experienced Head of Operations with a strong Ex-Army/Defence professional with education-sector experience who can take ownership of institutional operations, lead large teams, maintain discipline and safety, conduct regular site visits, and ensure consistent operational standards across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple locations.
- Ex-Army / Defence Services personnel will be strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in the education sector is highly desirable.
- Develop and implement operational plans, processes, SOPs, and performance standards.
- Manage, train, motivate, and discipline operational teams.
- Ensure smooth coordination between field teams, management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Handle emergencies, operational challenges, conflicts, and crisis situations effectively.
- Establish strong systems for reporting, communication, documentation, and escalation.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Identify operational risks and implement preventive and corrective measures.
- Review manpower deployment, scheduling, attendance, and resource utilization.
- Prepare regular operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.
- Support business expansion and operational setup at new locations.
- Travel extensively as required for site inspections, audits, meetings, and operational assignments.
Candidate Profile
- Ex-Army / Defence Services personnel will be strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in operations, administration, security, facility management, logistics, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong command and leadership abilities with experience managing large teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive or emergency situations.
- High level of discipline, integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Willingness to travel extensively across locations.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel independently would be an advantage.
