Job Description

Own and grow the entire marketing function at a B2B SaaS company helping e-commerce merchants scale. This is an IC-first role with the authority to build a team around you.

About Sumtracker

Sumtracker is a fast-growing inventory management platform for e-commerce merchants — think Shopify sellers, Amazon merchants, and multi-channel operators managing bundles, kits, purchase orders, stock syncing across platforms and inventory forecasting. We're a small, focused team based in Gurugram, building a product our customers genuinely love.

What you'll own

Web & brand presence

Full ownership of sumtracker.com, our Shopify App Store listing, G2 profile, and any public-facing properties — what they say, how they look, and how they convert.

Organic growth — SEO, AEO & content

Drive qualified traffic through long-form content, SEO, AEO, and social media. Build a content engine that compounds over time.

Email marketing

Own all email marketing — onboarding sequences, product announcements, nurture flows, and lifecycle campaigns.

Paid marketing

Plan and run paid campaigns — Shopify App Store ads. Manage budget and optimize for CAC and pipeline.

Partner & agency program

Build and grow a partner program for e-commerce agencies and consultants — designing incentives, co-marketing, and referral structures from scratch.

Marketing infrastructure & analytics

Set up and maintain the full marketing stack — lead capture, attribution tracking, tool integrations, automated workflows, and analytics dashboards that give us clear visibility into what's working.

About you

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Comfortable working as an individual contributor — you can write copy, run campaigns, and get things done without waiting for a team
  • Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and organic content strategy; experience with AEO/GEO is a plus
  • Hands-on with marketing infrastructure — you can set up lead capture, build attribution tracking, integrate tools across the stack (CRM, email, analytics, ad platforms), and create automated workflows without needing engineering support
  • Actively uses AI tools and automation to work faster and smarter — this is a must, not a nice-to-have
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you're excited by the challenge of building from a small base, not looking for a large team to manage
