Position Title: Associate Director Market Development (APAC)

Location: Remote/ Gurgaon, India

Reports To: Vice President, Head of Global Market Development & APAC GA

Position Summary

The Associate Director Market Development (Asia Pacific) will play a key role in driving regional/

cluster/ country/ market growth strategies for the company's products and technologies. This role is

responsible for identifying new opportunities, shaping go-to-market strategies, and enabling

sustainable business expansion across diverse Asia Pacific markets. The incumbent will partner with

global and regional leadership, commercial teams, and external stakeholders to position the

company as a trusted leader in vital organ therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute market development strategies for Asia Pacific, aligned with global priorities.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging segments, and underpenetrated markets.
  • Lead market assessments, feasibility studies, and competitive intelligence for the region.
  • Translate global strategy into localized go-to-market plans.

Commercial Growth

  • Partner with regional sales, marketing, and distribution teams to deliver revenue growth.
  • Support pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies tailored to regional healthcare

systems.

  • Drive product adoption and market share expansion by developing key customer value

propositions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, regulators, payers, and industry associations.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision makers to influence adoption of company's

technologies.

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing and Communications.

Execution & Leadership

  • Lead strategic projects that expand the company's footprint in priority markets.
  • Manage market development budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Represent Asia Pacific interests in global market development discussions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in market development, business development, or strategic marketing

within healthcare / MedTech / pharmaceutical sectors.

  • Knowledge of Asia Pacific healthcare markets, regulatory environments, and reimbursement frameworks.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving deal closures, business development, market entry/ growth strategies

and strategic execution.

  • Experience working in a multinational, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (3040%).
