LEADERSHIP
Lead the Lighting team by setting goals, sharing best practices, assisting in hiring, resolving conflicts, and providing feedback.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION & RECOGNITION
Evaluate team performance, set goals, and assist with increments and promotions according to the annual plan.
PLANNING
Attend meetings regularly, improve processes, and assist the GM-Operations in identifying new revenue opportunities.
Develop lighting plots, arrange fittings and effects, check equipment availability, and ensure timely setups to meet client deadlines.
Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all company policies.
COMMUNICATIONS
Contribute ideas, share industry innovations, and provide training to the team.
Communicate event schedules and client requirements clearly with the Lighting team and GM-Operations.
Ensure smooth execution through effective briefings, coordination, and task delegation.
Notify management of inventory issues and communicate client changes efficiently.
REVENUE MANAGEMENT
Maximize revenue by pursuing event leads and managing expenses within budget.
Ensure accurate invoicing, cost calculations, and inventory outsourcing to maximize profit.
Track pre- and post-event expenses and submit HR forms on time.
EXECUTION
Oversee setup, troubleshoot issues, and monitor light equipment performance.
Handle rigging, equipment operation, and monitor performance.
Support the team with client-requested changes and maintain a professional image.
POST EVENT
Ensure efficient dismantling, safe transport, and equipment check against the inventory list.
Assist with loading and unloading, and evaluate event performance to identify improvements.
MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS
Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct regular equipment maintenance, and ensure repairs are done at authorized centers.
Follow up on servicing timelines and costs, and report any equipment issues or shortages to GM-Operations.
PURCHASES
Improve procurement efficiency, negotiate with suppliers, maintain a supplier database, and ensure timely purchases with accurate invoicing.
DRY HIRE
Ensure equipment availability for dry hire, track inventory, follow up on client-held items, and verify returns against hire vouchers.
Requirements:
- Strong event lighting experience with hands-on expertise in equipment, effects, and consoles like MA (GrandMA), Avolites, or similar.
- Lead the lighting team and coordinate with clients, artists, and technical crews.
- Design and execute lighting plots with appropriate fixtures, effects, and systems.
- Manage inventory, maintenance, and logistics, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Ensure all lighting setups are delivered on time as per schedules and client expectations.
- Sound knowledge of trussing, rigging, and site safety practices.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, color balance, and stage presentation.
- Ability to handle high-pressure events, tight timelines, and mentor junior team members.
- Flexible with working hours based on event schedules.
