About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head – Legal to lead the legal function for Elior India and provide strategic and day-to-day legal support to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the legal function and provide strategic legal guidance to leadership.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, customer agreements, vendor agreements, leases, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Advise business and operations teams on legal risks and compliance requirements.
• Manage litigation, disputes, legal notices and external counsel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial and regulatory laws.
• Support new business, tenders, partnerships and customer negotiations from a legal perspective.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and business risks.
• Develop and maintain standard contracts, legal policies and processes.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Provide legal inputs for M&A, strategic projects and business expansion, wherever applicable.
• Ensure timely closure and proper documentation of all legal matters.

Ideal Candidate

• 7–15 years of experience in corporate/in-house legal roles.
• LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, corporate law, litigation and compliance.
• Experience handling legal matters independently and advising senior stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and provide practical, commercially focused legal solutions.
• Experience in institutional catering, hospitality, FMCG, facility management, retail or other service industries would be preferred.
