Position :Head - Legal

Company : USD 2.8 billion conglomerate, the Global leader in machines and enginesspecially into Earthmoving Equipment, Mining Trucks , Loaders & Dumpers.

Qualification - Regular qualification in Law.

Experience : 18-25 Years

CTC - 35 to 40 LPA

JOB DESCRIPTION-

This position will be responsible for complete legal function of the company and will be

reporting to CFO. The person should have a thorough knowledge on Labour laws, IPR,

Cyber Law, POSH, Negotiable Instruments Act, Law of Contracts, Real Estate Laws,

Commercial / Banking Law, Competition Act, etc.

  • Liaising with Legal Advisors and Consultants; and handling correspondences with

Banks and other business associates.

  • Advising on legal risks, business strategies and other issues related to the

Company's businesses.

  • Advising on legal issues and coordinating with external counsels for getting legal

opinion on legal issues as and when required.

  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities.
  • Provide legal assistance to Human resources team for employment matters and

contract drafting for employment and other related issues.

  • Filing of trademarks, copyrights, patents, brand names (registrations & renewals)
  • Evaluating and vetting of various business agreements with multiple functional

teams.

  • Drafting, negotiation and execution of lease agreements.
  • Drafting and execution of sale deeds.
  • Prepare and send legal notices to customers / vendors.
  • Filing of legal cases against debtors for defaulting payments and Defending of Cases

filed against Company.

  • Filing and defending of civil suits for and behalf of the Company.
  • Coordinating with external Legal consultant for legal cases, disputes resolutions.
  • Validation of Document Titles towards purchase or leasing a property
  • To secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations

including but not limited to Legal Compliance with respect to Labour Laws and Health

and Safety Laws.

  • Liasoning with Government offices and local bodies for obtaining Licenses and

Certificates as may be required from time to time for business purpose.
