About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and business-driven Learning & Development leader to drive capability building across a large, diversified retail and FMCG ecosystem with a strong international presence. This role will focus on strengthening frontline and field capabilities, designing scalable learning frameworks, and driving impactful training programs across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall Learning & Development strategy aligned with business goals
- Design and implement field and frontline training programs across retail/store operations
- Build scalable learning journeys, academies, and capability frameworks
- Drive learning design and content development (classroom, digital, blended formats)
- Manage end-to-end program execution across multiple regions and countries
- Partner with business and operations teams to improve store performance and productivity
- Track and measure training effectiveness through KPIs and learning analytics
- Lead and mentor the L&D team while ensuring high-quality delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 12+ years of experience in Learning & Development / Training
- Strong exposure to retail, FMCG, QSR, or hospitality environments
- Proven expertise in field training and frontline capability building• Experience in learning design, instructional design, and program management
- Ability to manage large-scale, multi-location training initiatives
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, emerging market environments
- Willingness to travel internationally regularly
