Our client is an India-focused venture capital platform backing high-growth consumer and consumer-enablement businesses. The firm was founded by a team of seasoned operators and investors with backgrounds in top-tier global consulting firms and high-growth startups, bringing together deep experience across strategy, operations, and venture investing.

The firm recently successfully raised its maiden fund, backed by a diverse base of family offices, entrepreneurs, and institutional investors, and has begun deploying capital into promising early-growth companies across sectors such as consumer brands, food & beverage, personal care, apparel, and consumer infrastructure.

Building on the strong early momentum of the portfolio, the firm is now preparing to launch a significantly larger second fund and is looking to bring on board a Head Investor Relations who will play a key role in strengthening the fund's LP relationships and driving capital raising initiatives globally.

Role Overview

The Head Investor Relations will lead the firm's LP engagement, fundraising strategy, and investor communication initiatives. This role will work closely with the Founding Partners to drive the upcoming fundraise and build long-term relationships with family offices, institutional investors, and global LPs.

This is a high-impact leadership role with direct visibility with the investment team and the firm's investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fundraising & Capital Raising

Support the leadership team in raising capital for the firm's upcoming fund

Develop and execute strategies to expand the LP base across family offices, UHNW investors, and institutional allocators

Build and maintain relationships with domestic and global LPs

• Investor Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors

Manage regular LP communication including performance updates, newsletters, and portfolio insights

Organise and manage investor meetings, annual meetings, and LP events

• Investor Communication & Reporting

Prepare and manage fundraising materials including pitch decks, data rooms, and due diligence documentation

Lead LP reporting processes, ensuring timely and high-quality investor communication

Coordinate closely with the investment team to provide portfolio updates and performance insights

• Market & Investor Intelligence

Track trends across the venture capital and private market fundraising ecosystem

Identify and build relationships with new LP pools including international investors

Experience:

• 1018 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or family offices
• Experience in raising capital or managing relationships with LPs will be strongly preferred
• Exposure to venture capital or private market funds is desirable

Skills:

• Strong network within family offices, UHNW investors, and institutional LPs
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
• Strong understanding of venture capital / private market fundraising dynamics
• Ability to operate in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial investment platform

Education:

• MBA from a Tier 1 institution (IIM / ISB / global equivalent) preferred
• CFA / CA or similar qualifications would be an advantage
