Are you a strategic audit leader who bridges the gap between Financial Integrity and Engineering Excellence

We are seeking a high-caliber Head of Internal Audits to lead a multidisciplinary function for a premier real estate organization. This critical leadership role oversees a comprehensive audit framework that combines Commercial (financial and compliance) with Engineering (technical and project execution) audits to ensure operational excellence across large-scale developments.

The Role: Strategic Oversight & Risk Mitigation

As the Head of Internal Audits, you will report directly to the Director and the Audit Committee, serving as a key guardian of financial integrity and project efficiency. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of finance and technical professionals to mitigate risks across the entire project lifecycle.

Key Areas of Impact:

• Audit Strategy: Develop and implement a risk-based annual audit plan covering diverse projects and geographies.
• Commercial Audit: Oversee project budgeting, procurement processes, RERA compliance, and revenue recognition.
• Engineering Audit: Lead technical audits focusing on construction quality, adherence to specifications/BOQs, and contractor bill validation.
• Risk & Governance: Identify business risks such as cost escalations and delays while driving the digitization of audit tools and ERP analytics.
• Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements for cost optimization and contract management to reduce leakages.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 15–18+ years of seasoned experience in internal audit within the Real Estate, Construction, or Infrastructure industries.
• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or MBA in Finance. An Engineering degree (Civil) or strong technical audit experience is highly desirable.
• Expertise: A proven track record in both financial controls and technical construction processes.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders/Board members.
