Head of Inspection Body / Certification Director

This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi. As the Head of Inspection Body / Certification Director, you will oversee and manage the certification processes, ensuring compliance with European directives. Key responsibilities include supervising inspection activities, managing a team of expert professionals, maintaining accreditation processes, and liaising with regulatory bodies and clients. The role will also involve developing and implementing efficient operational practices to maintain superior service quality.

• Strong knowledge of European directives including PED, ATEX, EMC, Machinery, and the Medical Device Directive
• Experience in certification processes, conformity assessments, and product testing
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in the inspection or certification domain
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Engineering or technical educational background; graduate degree preferred
• Previous experience in quality assurance or working within a Notified or accredited certification body
