Role & Responsibility
- Entire gamut of functional technology requirements in a fast-growing Lending business (core LMS, SAARS, CRM, credit Decisioning engine, HRMS/Staff tracking, website, email system)
- Either hands-on coding expertise or capability to directly manage /oversee Company's data assets for business relevant analytics/trends/interpretation for value maximization
- Administer the Company's Hardware and networking assets (Desktops, laptops, antivirus, firewall, switches, inverter and UPS) across HO and branches
- Ensure 100% adherence to data security and safety requirements
- Ensure 100% adherence to RBI regulations / Board requirements on Technology
- Support all data requirements of the business > on-going + adhoc > BAU and special needs. Develop/implement ability to draw business relevant conclusions from data/trends
- Develop good understanding of the implications of LMS data on front line (sales, collection and credit) and back end (Operations/Finance) and the resultant business, accounting and operational implications
- Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation > involving conversation ranging from idea conceptualization, Software upgrades, data support
- Being the eyes and ears of the Management and ability to be a trusted advisor/council on Technology and data security matters
Experience and other criteria:
- 15+ year experience in India-facing Technology sector
- Mandatory Of which, at least 5+ years Retail Lending (Indian Banks, NBFCs, SFB, MFIs) on the side.
- Exposure of living & working in Chennai cities and knowledge of English + Tamil is a must.
- Prior experience of handling Asset finance/Lending LMS software/SAARS mandatory (experience should include atleast 3 of the following) software selection/mapping and techno-commercial sign off, one time software implementation/ customization, data migration/user training , ongoing LMS customization/upgrades, vendor relationship management is a must.
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to get the job done, come what may
- Demonstrated past ability in atleast any two of the following:
a. Engage with senior stakeholders (Board/Shareholders/Senior management, contributing to strategic/ annual planning process)
b. Working in a start-up environment i.e. fast changing/dynamic work place
c. Technology/Data security, capability to secure Company technology assets from various threats
Experience: 15+ years
