The Head of India Innovation and Product Strategy Lead for AI Platforms will lead State Street India's innovation agendaby building and scaling a high‑impact innovation hubthat accelerates firm‑wide transformation. The role is also accountable for defining and executing the AI strategy, fostering a robust innovation ecosystem, and driving measurable business value aligned to the firm's strategic objectives. This leader will work closely with global technology, business, risk, and client teams to translate emerging technologies into client‑centric, scalable, and compliant solutions, while positioning India as a strategic innovation engine for the enterprise.

What you will be responsible for

• Innovation Strategy & Ecosystem Leadership - Define and scale a firm‑wide innovation strategy leveraging internal and external ecosystems.

• AI Strategy - Own the end‑to‑end AI vision from ideation through enterprise‑scale adoption.

• Client‑Centric Innovation - Drive innovation anchored in client outcomes, market relevance, and competitive differentiation.

• Technology & Digital Enablement - Enable rapid innovation through modern platforms, data, cloud, and digital capabilities.

• Value Realization - Ensure measurable business value, ROI, and productivity gains from innovation investments.

• Governance, Risk & Compliance - Embed strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance by design.

• Leadership - Build and lead high‑performing teams that deliver impact at scale and develop future leaders.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field advanced degree preferred.

• 15-20+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within financial services or large global enterprises.

• Proven track record in innovation leadership, AI‑driven transformation, and strategy.

• Strong understanding of financial services, regulatory environments, and risk management.

• Experience building and scaling large, high‑impact teams in India and global delivery models.

• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business and technology stakeholders globally.
