Role Description
We are looking for a strategic and execution focused Head of HR to lead our people function. The role involves leading HR operations, managing HR policies, overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The Head of HR will work closely with leadership to develop and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
This is a high impact leadership role suited for someone who thrives in fast paced, entrepreneurial environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Strategy & Hiring:
- Build and execute a robust hiring strategy across functions
- Attract top-tier talent aligned with company vision
- Strengthen employer branding and hiring processes
2. Culture & Organizational Development:
- Define and nurture TheLAL's culture and core values
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
- Build leadership pipelines and succession planning
3. HR Systems & Processes:
- Establish scalable HR frameworks, policies, and structures
- Implement performance management and feedback systems
- Drive HR tech adoption (HRMS) and analytics driven decisions
4. Business Partnering
- Work closely with founders and leadership team
- Align people strategy with business goals
- Act as a strategic advisor on organizational design
5. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR compliance
- Build strong governance and ethical practices
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in HR, with leadership exposure
- Strong experience in startups, high growth environments, or scaling organizations
- Proven track record in building teams and culture from early stages
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Founder mindset with high ownership and adaptability
- In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and HR Policies
- Strong skills in Employee Relations and conflict resolution
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
