Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Business Partnership – Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with business objectives; partner with the MD/CEO and leadership team on organization design, workforce strategy, capability building and key people decisions.

2. Manufacturing / Plant HR & IR – Lead plant HR, manpower planning, productivity, employee relations, Industrial Relations, contract labour, grievance/disciplinary matters, workforce engagement and statutory compliance.

3. Sales HR / Field Force – Partner with Sales leadership on manpower planning, recruitment, deployment, retention, performance, productivity, incentives and employee relations for the pan-India sales organization.

4. Corporate HR – Provide HR leadership to Corporate and central functions, supporting organization effectiveness, leadership capability, talent development and business transformation.

5. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning – Ensure timely availability of talent through manpower planning, critical-role hiring, talent pipelines and effective recruitment strategies.

6. Performance, Talent & Succession – Drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, high-potential identification and leadership development.

7. Employee Engagement & Culture – Build a high-performance culture through employee engagement, leadership communication, employee connect, retention and change-management initiatives.

8. HR Operations, Policies & Governance – Oversee HR operations, policies, HRIS, people analytics, governance and statutory compliance while driving process standardization and continuous improvement.

9. Compensation & Benefits – Ensure competitive and business-aligned compensation, benefits and sales incentive structures, balancing talent retention, internal equity and manpower cost.

10. HR Team Leadership – Lead, mentor and develop the 8–10 member HR team and establish an effective operating model across Corporate, Plant and Sales HR.

Candidate Profile

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources – Mandatory.

• 18–25 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with significant experience as Head HR / senior HR leader.

• Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Lifesciences, large-scale manufacturing-led organization.

• Strong and meaningful exposure to both Manufacturing/Plant HR & Industrial Relations and Sales HR / large field-force management.

• Experience managing 2,000+ employees and multi-location HR operations will be strongly preferred.

• Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, labour-law/IR knowledge, people leadership and change-management capability.

Preferred Background

Ideal profile: Plant HR / IR + Business HR / Sales HR + Corporate HR experience. Candidates with predominantly Corporate HR, Talent Acquisition, L&D or specialist COE exposure without significant plant and sales experience would not be preferred.
