Hiring: Plant Head HR | Automotive Component Manufacturer | Laksar, Haridwar
We are partnering with a leading automotive component manufacturer to hire a Plant Head HR to lead the HR and administrative function of the site. The role is based in Laksar, Haridwar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial Relations (IR) & Union Management: Serve as the liaison between plant management and the labor force. Handle grievance procedures, disciplinary actions, and collective bargaining/negotiations to maintain a stable work environment
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for both permanent and contract staff. Oversee bulk hiring, skill assessments, and onboarding processes
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure the plant strictly adheres to local and national labor laws (e.g., Factories Act, EPF, and ESI) and manage audits.
- Payroll & Compensation: Administer payroll, attendance tracking, shift planning, and overtime records in coordination with finance teams
- Health, Safety, & Welfare: Promote workplace safety, conduct safety training, and oversee employee welfare services (e.g., canteen, transport, and medical facilities)
- Performance Management: Facilitate performance reviews, identify training needs, and implement development programs to boost worker morale and productivity
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations (IR), or a related field (e.g., MSW).
- Experience: 15+ years of HR experience, ideally with significant time spent in a manufacturing, unionized, or industrial setting.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Soft Skills: Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership capabilities
