Head of GCC: Manufacturing & Construction

We are partnering with a leading global industrial group to appoint a Founding Leader for its new Global Capability Centre in Chennai.

This is a unique opportunity to build a GCC from the ground up and shape it into a strategic capability hub for the Group.

The mandate includes:

• Defining the GCC's operating model, governance, service structure and activation roadmap

• Leading phased transitions across Finance, HR, Procurement and Supply Chain

• Building Centres of Expertise across Engineering, BIM, Analytics and AI

• Driving process transformation, automation, technology adoption and measurable value creation

• Building the leadership team, talent strategy and high performance culture

• Managing senior stakeholders across India, the Middle East and the wider Group

We are looking for:

• 20+ years of senior leadership experience across EPC, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, energy or related industries

• Experience in building or scaling GCCs, GBS or shared services, with greenfield experience a strong advantage

• Strong cross functional leadership across Finance, HR, Procurement and Supply Chain, with exposure to technology and digital transformation

• Proven ability to lead complex transformation programmes and manage multiple stakeholders

• Understanding of industrial operations, project lifecycles and global operating models

• Exposure to SAP / Oracle, automation, analytics or AI is desirable

• MBA or engineering qualification preferred
