Objective:

As the Head of Finance for the Digital Energy Solutions (DES) business unit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that

financial management, strategy, and performance are seamlessly aligned with the company's overarching goals, particularly within the dynamic and rapidly expanding Energy, Power, and Utilities sector. As a dedicated leader within DES, you will drive innovation and ideation, strategically maximize value propositions, and capture significant market opportunities both at the global and regional levels. Moreover, you will lead efforts to navigate and capitalize on emerging

regional markets, positioning the company to sustain success in the evolving digital energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

o Develop and implement financial strategies that support the growth and profitability of the Digital Energy

Solutions team.

o Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team, influencing decision-making

regarding new technologies, investments, and market opportunities.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

o Oversee the creation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.

o Ensure financial resources are effectively allocated, while aligning with the company's digital

transformation and sustainability initiatives.

3. Profitability and Cost Management:

o Monitor and control costs within the team, ensuring operational efficiency.

o Maximize profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities, financial inefficiencies, and value generating opportunities within digital energy solutions.

4.Financial Reporting and Analysis:

o Provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reports and analysis to stakeholders.

o Use financial metrics to assess the performance of digital energy projects, tracking ROI, capital

expenditures, and operational performance.

5. Stakeholder Management:

o Liaise with other departments, including technology, operations, and sales, to ensure financial plans align

with digital energy solutions and innovation strategies.

o Communicate financial performance to key stakeholders, including senior leadership and investors, ensuring transparency and alignment.

6. Regulatory and Risk Management:

o Ensure that financial operations comply with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and

sustainability goals.

o Mitigate financial risks, particularly in emerging technologies and digital investments, by identifying potential challenges and managing them proactively.

• Financial Stability and Growth: Ensure the team remains financially healthy, with sustainable growth and

profitability in the rapidly evolving digital energy market.

• Efficient Financial Operations: Streamline financial processes to reduce inefficiencies and increase the

effectiveness of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Strategic Alignment: Ensure that financial strategies align with the overall mission of advancing digital energy

solutions, fostering innovation while balancing cost-effectiveness.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all the

regions.

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory

requirements – region wise, department wise.

• Support in managing cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives.

• Collaborate with business / regional heads to align financial planning with operational strategies.

• Having strong commercial acumen in IT/IoT space.

• Having strong knowledge in applicable accounting standards and guidelines for the regions.

• Ability to analyze, identify risks and the mitigation measures required in delivering Digital Solution projects,

products and services.

• Supporting financial audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and statutory compliance

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior finance role.

• Proven experience in managing finance, preferably in a mid-sized IT/IoT or technology business.

• Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, compliance regulations, and accounting standards.

• Proficiency with financial software and ERP tools.

• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
