Head of Finance & Systems Retail & E-commerce

We are hiring a Head of Finance & Systems to lead the design and deployment of an Odoo-based ERP platform supporting a German e-commerce business and a UK multi-store retail chain.

This is a delivery critical role with ownership across finance, inventory, POS and integrations.

Role Purpose

Own the end-to-end delivery of the Odoo platform across finance, inventory, POS and integrations. This is the single throat to choke role.

Key Responsibilities

•Overall system architecture and delivery ownership

•Translate business requirements (Germany e-commerce, UK retail) into Odoo configuration

•Lead Odoo implementation across:

•Accounting (DE + UK VAT)

•Inventory & warehouses

•POS (stores)

•Intercompany flows

•Own data migration strategy (products, customers, stock)

•Oversee Shopify and 3PL integrations

•Control scope, timelines, and quality

•Coordinate India-based developers and functional consultants

•Act as interface with European management

Required Background

•8–12+ years ERP / systems experience

•Strong Odoo functional knowledge (Accounting + Inventory mandatory)

•Retail and/or e-commerce ERP exposure

•Strong finance grounding (chart of accounts, VAT, stock valuation)

•Experience delivering ERP ahead of time
