Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head Finance & Accounts to lead the organization's financial planning, accounting, compliance, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial governance, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting business growth through strong financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire Finance & Accounts function, including accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance
- Oversee preparation of financial statements, MIS, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory norms
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities
- Drive financial controls, risk management, and internal audit processes
- Support management in strategic decision-making, business planning, and cost optimization
- Manage and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Oversee treasury operations, working capital management, and fund utilization
- Handle financial reporting for board meetings and senior management reviews
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with SME and/or listed companies will be an advantage
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
Qualification & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts
- Currently working in a leadership role (Head / GM / AGM / Senior Manager Finance & Accounts)
