Head of Finance Operations ISEA- Automotive Business

We are in the process of identifying a suitable candidate for the role of Head of Finance Operations ISEA . This role will be based in Pune and will report to the Head - Global Finance Operations.

The Head of Finance Operations will lead the financial strategy, operations, and governance of the captive finance centre for SKF Automotive. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, compliance, and financial performance across the captive unit, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities (or What you can expect in the role)

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate goals
• Partner with global and regional leadership to support business growth and profitability
  
  

Operational Excellence

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations including AP, AR, GL, treasury, and tax
• Drive automation, process optimization, and cost efficiency initiatives
  
  

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations
• Lead internal audits and risk management practices
  
  

Performance Management

• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to assess operational health
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial outcomes
  
  

Team Leadership

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  
  

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborating with various stakeholders, including the parent company, business unit leaders, and external partners, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  
  

Audit Management and R2R Support :

• Collaborating multiple audits and support R2R team
  
  

Requirements (or We Expect You To Have/be)

• Chartered Accountant
• 15-20 years of experience in finance operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Prior experience in automotive or captive finance preferred
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  
  

Competency Profile

• Exposure to global finance shared services or captive centres
• Familiarity with automotive financing models and dealer/vendor ecosystems
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale transformation projects
