Head of Finance, Mumbai (Ship Management Industry)
A well established international shipping organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Finance to lead its finance function in Mumbai, India as part of a broader regional structure.
This role will take ownership of financial governance, statutory compliance, and commercial finance, working closely with regional and group stakeholders in a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end to end finance covering accounting, reporting, tax, controls, and compliance
- Ensure strong financial governance and internal controls in a listed or MNC setup
- Own statutory reporting, audits, and tax matters
- Partner with regional and group finance on reporting standards and performance management
- Provide commercial analysis to support revenue, asset, and investment related decisions
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A
- Build and lead an in house finance team and strengthen systems and processes
Key Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA mandatory)
- 8-10+ years of expereince, minimally
- Senior finance experience in capital intensive industries such as shipping, aviation, infrastructure, energy, or industrials
- Strong governance and compliance background with commercial finance exposure
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Hands on, high quality operator from a structured MNC environment
This role is only open to candidates currently based in India.
