Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire finance and accounts function of the hospital
- Oversee hospital cash flow management, including daily cash position and fund planning
- Manage patient receivables, insurance settlements, corporate billing, and vendor payables
- Ensure timely preparation and review of P&L statements, EBITDA analysis, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor hospital revenue, operating costs, and margins; recommend cost-control and optimization strategies
- Ensure full compliance with healthcare-related statutory and financial regulations, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, audits, and internal controls
- Prepare and present financial reports and MIS to management and stakeholders
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Develop and strengthen financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls specific to hospital operations
- Support management with financial insights for expansion, investments, and strategic decisions
- Lead, guide, and mentor the hospital finance and accounts team
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hospital finance operations
- Expertise in Cash Flow Management, Receivables & Payables
- Proficiency in P&L, EBITDA, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Sound understanding of compliance and audit requirements in a healthcare setup
- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in hospital / healthcare / fertility centre finance is highly preferred
- Exposure to insurance billing, patient revenue cycles, and hospital costing will be an added advantage
