What You'll Own
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Build and run annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models
- Own unit economics across products, pilots, manufacturing runs, and scale scenarios
- Partner with the CEO on pricing, margin strategy, and capital allocation decisions
- Translate ambiguity into numbers leadership can act on
Cost, Controls & Discipline
- Own cost structures end-to-end: materials, manufacturing, logistics, people, overheads
- Set up cost controls without slowing the business down
- Build internal financial controls, approval systems, and reporting rhythms
- Ensure financial hygiene across vendors, contracts, and operations
Accounting, Compliance & Governance
- Own books, audits, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance
- Work with external auditors, consultants, banks, and legal teams
- Ensure the company is always clean, defensible, and investor-ready
- Build systems that scale rom today's reality to tomorrow's complexity
Capital & Investor Readiness
- Support fundraising with models, data rooms, and financial narratives
- Track runway, burn, and scenario risk proactively
- Act as a trusted counterpart to investors on financial matters
Systems & Team Building
- Set up finance systems, tools, and dashboards that leadership actually uses
- Hire and mentor finance/accounting talent as the company scales
- Build a culture of accountability, clarity, and calm around money
