Role Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all financial operations, drive business analytics for informed decision-making, ensure seamless accounts processing, lead a high-performing finance team, manage MIS reporting, handle legal & compliance under Indian GAAP/Ind AS and new tax regimes, and optimize dealer network accounting. This role demands a strategic partner to the leadership team, focusing on cost optimization, cash flow management, and scalable growth in a competitive manufacturing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end finance & accounts processing, including AP/AR, payroll, inventory valuation, and cost accounting for manufacturing operations.
- Develop and champion business analytics using tools like Power BI, ERP (e.g., Tally/SAP), and advanced Excel to deliver insights on profitability, margins, and forecasting.
- Build and manage a finance team of 10-15 members, fostering performance through training, appraisals, and succession planning.
- Design and automate MIS dashboards for real-time KPIs on sales, production costs, dealer performance, and working capital.
- Ensure 100% legal & compliance adherence, including GST, TDS, ROC filings, labor laws, audits, and risk management under Companies Act and new Labour Codes.
- Oversee dealer network accounting: credit management, scheme settlements, rebate calculations, and collections from 500+ dealers to minimize bad debts and optimize DSO.
- Drive strategic initiatives like budgeting, variance analysis, capex planning, treasury management, and funding for expansion.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and HR for integrated financial planning, including cost benchmarking and incentive structures.
- Implement ERP enhancements and digital tools for process efficiency and fraud prevention.
Qualification and Required Skills:
- CA/CMA Finance from a reputed institute; strong practical experience considered.
- Proven track record in business analytics (e.g., predictive modeling, ROI analysis) and MIS automation.
- Expertise in dealer financing, channel accounting, and manufacturing cost structures .
