Role Description The Head of Finance and Accounting is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading all financial and accounting operations at Blox.xyz. This role oversees the preparation and review of financial statements, ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, and manages budgeting and forecasting processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance and Accounting will partner closely with senior leadership to support growth initiatives, optimize financial performance, and manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. The role also includes building and mentoring the finance and accounting team, improving systems and processes, and implementing best practices across the function.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in managing Financial Statements and overall financial operations.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including statutory reporting, management reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Proven expertise in Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth and resource allocation.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Experience leading finance and accounting teams, with the ability to develop talent and build scalable processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation, regulatory frameworks, and corporate compliance requirements.
• Comfort working with ERP and finance systems, and driving process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or MBA in Finance (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
• Prior experience in high-growth, technology or platform-based businesses, and familiarity with the real estate sector is an advantage.:
