We are looking for an Head of Enterprise Risk & Operational Risk Management to join us!

Job Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Risk Governance

Lead the development and continuous enhancement of ANEXT Bank's enterprise risk framework, ensuring alignment with MAS Notices and evolving digital banking requirements. Own the annual review process for the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and respective policies.

Establish acceptable risk boundaries, metrics, and tolerances across all risk types, aligned to strategic goals.

2. Reputational risk

Govern and monitor reputational risks that may impact the bank's brand integrity or stakeholder confidence. Develop frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate reputational exposures.

3. Operational Resilience Leadership

Design and implement the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework, prioritizing emerging risks in digital banking operations. Oversee the development of predictive Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to enable proactive risk management.

4. Issue management

Identification, tracking, and remediation of control weaknesses or operational incidents. Direct end-to-end management protocols for operational risk events, ensuring root cause analysis translates to process improvements.

5. Third party risk

Manage third-party risk governance for partnerships and outsourcing arrangements, including due diligence assessments and continuity testing for critical vendors.

6. Business continuity

Champion compliance with regulatory requirements for Business Continuity Management (BCM). Prepare Board level reports that contextualize risk exposures against strategic growth objectives.

7. Organizational Capability Building

Foster risk-aware decision making through targeted training programs and cross-functional workshops. Lead a high-performing team of risk specialists, driving risk capability development.

Requirements

  • Visionary approach to balancing innovation velocity with operational safeguards
  • Advanced degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise or operational risk management within regulated financial institutions, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining frameworks aligned with MAS Notices.
  • Proven experience managing regulatory engagements, including MAS inspections and external audits.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience advising C-suite executives and board members.
  • Track record of building scalable risk governance structures in digital or high-growth banking environments is highly desirable.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation with operational safety and compliance.
