About Role:

Role: Head of Engineering

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Role Purpose: Lead VotaryTech's engineering organisation across Automotive, Compute,

IoT and Smart Devices, driving engineering excellence, delivery governance, customer

success, innovation, capability development and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define engineering strategy, technology road map and engineering governance.
• Lead Engineering Delivery Managers, Architects and Technical Leads.
• Own delivery quality, customer satisfaction and engineering KPIs.
• Build Centers of Excellence and AI-enabled engineering capabilities.
• Drive competency development, certifications and leadership pipeline.
• Support strategic customer engagements, solution reviews and engineering proposals.
• Improve utilisation, productivity, gross margins and engineering efficiency.
• Champion innovation, reusable IPs, automation and engineering best practices.
• Partner with HR, PMO and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning.
• Develop future engineering leaders and succession plans.

Required Experience:

• 25+ years in Embedded/Product Engineering.
• Leadership in Automotive, Compute, Linux/Android/BSP, IoT or Semiconductor domains.
• Experience managing large engineering teams and strategic customers.
• Strong financial, delivery and stakeholder management skills.
