Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and process-driven Head of Engineering with a strong enterprise
software background. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading engineering
teams to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade solutions in cloud environments. This
individual will work closely with company leadership, product management, and customers to
define and execute the engineering roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration,
innovation, and accountability.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and processes.
- Engineering Roadmap & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product management and leadership to define and align the
engineering roadmap with business goals.
- Translate product requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing
solutions.
- Technology Strategy & Development:
- Architect, design, and oversee the delivery of enterprise-grade solutions in
cloud-native environments.
- Ensure the delivery of multiple solution versions using containerized
environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Drive the adoption of modern technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to
enhance product quality and scalability.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Security:
- Oversee the deployment and management of solutions on AWS cloud
infrastructure.
- Ensure robust security practices and compliance in all engineering processes.
- AI and Gen-AI Expertise:
- Leverage knowledge of AI Agents, LLMs, and Generative AI to enhance product
capabilities.
- Identify and implement AI-driven features and improvements in line with
customer needs.
- Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with customers to gather feedback and ensure solutions meet
enterprise requirements.
- Represent the engineering team in customer and partner engagements.
- UI Development:
- Guide the team in delivering solutions with modern UI frameworks such as
ReactJS and AngularJS.
- Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Documentation:
- Own Documentation Roadmap and Content Strategy for Tuebora
Requirements
- Experience:
- 10+ years in enterprise software engineering, including 5+ years in an
Engineering leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering multiple product versions in containerized
environments.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including AI Agents, LLMs, and
Generative AI.
- Proficiency in front-end development with ReactJS or AngularJS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure).
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams in a
small, fast-paced environment.
- Process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
