We are seeking a seasoned Head of Engineering to own the technical vision, engineering roadmap, and system architecture for large-scale mobile, web, and cloud-based applications. In this role, you will guide multiple engineering pods, mentor technical leads, and partner closely with product and operations teams to support global field-force and retail operations.

What You'll Do:
- Drive Technology Vision: Define and maintain the long-term architectural vision for mobile, web, APIs, backend, and cloud infrastructure using modular design and microservices.
- Lead Delivery Excellence: Head multiple engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, QA, and integrations, ensuring predictable, high-quality sprint delivery.
- Align Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Act as the primary engineering voice with product, operations, analytics, and business teams to translate business KPIs into technical outcomes.
- Govern Platform Reliability: Own platform stability, uptime, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure while proactively reducing technical debt.
- Nurture Engineering Culture: Mentor technical leads and architects, fostering a high-performing culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous upskilling.
- Strategize & Innovate: Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML, automation, and new frameworks to support expansion into new markets.
What We Are Looking For:
Core Engineering Expertise:
- 8–10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, system design, API strategy, and cloud engineering.
- Strong hands-on exposure to:
- Mobile: Flutter / Android / iOS
- Web: React or similar
- Backend: Node.js or equivalent
- Cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure
- DevOps: CI/CD and automation frameworks
Business & Industry Knowledge:
- Proven track record delivering large-scale solutions for retail, field-force, consumer electronics, or SaaS domains.
- Strong command of sales workflows, partner ecosystems, operational dependencies, and security/compliance frameworks.
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- A high ownership mindset with the ability to balance long-term strategic vision with near-term execution in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-region deployments or complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Prior experience leading distributed engineering teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations or cloud-based intelligent systems
