About the Role
Art Technology and Software is looking for a senior technology leader to join us as Head of Engineering Architecture & Platforms.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving engineering excellence, platform architecture, and scalable systems across our product and delivery ecosystem. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, presales, and leadership teams to shape and execute technology strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the technology strategy across platforms and data
- Lead architecture decisions with a strong focus on scalability, security, resilience, and performance
- Drive platform evolution through automation, modern engineering practices, and continuous innovation
- Mentor and guide engineering leaders, architects, and principal engineers
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives
- Support presales and solutioning activities by providing technical leadership, architecture inputs, estimations, and feasibility assessments
- Partner with product, delivery, and leadership teams to ensure effective execution and governance across initiatives
- Provide technical oversight and ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant exposure to senior leadership roles
- Strong expertise in platform architecture and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with automation, data platforms, or modern engineering systems
- Experience working onsite with clients and collaborating closely with internal teams, effectively managing expectations across delivery, product, and leadership stakeholders
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and translating business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Exposure to presales, solution design, or customer-facing roles is a strong advantage
- Experience working in regulated or complex domains is preferred
- Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with hands-on execution and technical involvement
