Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the overall engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals
- Lead, scale, and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and excellence
- Architect and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps
- Partner closely with Product, Business, and Leadership teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Own end-to-end delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of complex projects
- Drive system design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native adoption
- Optimize engineering processes, productivity, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency
- Manage technical risks, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and security compliance
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance product capabilities and engineering effectiveness
- Build and retain top engineering talent, including hiring, succession planning, and leadership development
- Act as a key stakeholder in organizational strategy and contribute to long-term technology planning
Key Requirements:
- 12-15 years of experience in software engineering with a strong foundation across multiple technologies and architectures
- Proven experience in leading and scaling large engineering teams in high-growth environments
- Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
- Ability to make high-impact architectural decisions across diverse tech stacks (backend, frontend, data, infrastructure)
- Experience in building and scaling products/platforms from early to growth stages
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology strategy with organizational goals
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
