Job Description

Location: Chennai, India (On-site)

Type: Full-time

Comp: Base salary + minor equity in Prvnt (parent) + larger equity in the E-com vertical (vesting / performance-linked)

Prvnt is building a premium preventive and longevity platform. Alongside the clinic, we're launching an E-commerce vertical that will serve two audiences:

  1. Direct-to-consumer (D2C) customers who want high-quality, science-aligned wellness products
  2. Prvnt patients/members, where products are integrated into care plans and replenishment flows

This won't be a generic store. The point is curation and trust. We will stock products we believe inacross merch, supplements, and wellness products/devices and we'll back that with a quality system: third-party testing / verification via independent labs or vendors where relevant (e.g., purity, contaminants, label accuracy, heavy metals, microbiology - depending on category).

We're hiring a Head of E-commerce as a true operating partner to build and run this vertical end-to-end.

What you'll own (end-to-end)

P&L + Growth

  • Own revenue, margin, CAC/LTV, repeat rate, and profitability
  • Build the D2C acquisition engine (paid, search, partnerships, affiliates, organic)
  • Own CRO and site performance (funnel, landing pages, checkout, AOV)

Product Curation + Merchandising

  • Define category strategy: merch, supplements, wellness products/devices, diagnostics where appropriate
  • Build a clear merchandising logic (hero products, bundles, seasonal drops, replenishment)
  • Set pricing, promos, subscription/replenishment mechanics, and assortment strategy

Quality & Trust System (core requirement)

  • Build the framework for Prvnt-approved products
  • Set vendor standards and onboarding (documentation, audits where needed, COAs, batch testing requirements)
  • Coordinate third-party testing/verification workflows for relevant categories
  • Ensure claims, labeling, and marketing are compliant and defensible (no hype, no risky promises)

Clinic + Patient Channel Integration

  • Build the bridge between clinic recommendations and commerce execution
  • Create care plan flows: practitioner-recommended bundles, patient replenishment, post-visit follow-ups
  • Work with clinical leadership so the store supports outcomes and patient experience (not noise)

Ops + Fulfillment

  • Own stack and operations: Shopify (or equivalent), payments, logistics/3PL, returns, customer support
  • Inventory planning, demand forecasting, supplier relationships, and unit economics discipline
  • Build a reliable delivery experience and high NPS

Team + Execution

  • Hire and manage a lean team (growth, ops, CX, merch) + agencies where needed
  • Establish weekly reporting cadence and KPI dashboards

What we're looking for
  • 712+ years building/scaling D2C or e-commerce businesses (wellness/health categories strongly preferred)
  • Proven P&L ownership with strong unit economics and operational discipline
  • Strong taste + judgment in merchandising (what to carry, what not to carry)
  • Real understanding of quality: suppliers, COAs, testing, compliance, claims risk
  • Comfortable moving fast while maintaining high standards and process
  • Bonus: experience in GCC markets, regulated categories, subscriptions/replenishment

Compensation & partner structure
  • Competitive base salary
  • Minor equity in Prvnt (parent company)
  • Meaningfully larger equity in the E-commerce vertical (vesting + performance-linked; details shared with shortlisted candidates)
