Distribution Head - Sheenlac Paints Ltd.

About the role

Sheenlac Paints is looking for a Head – Distribution to own and scale our distributor network across India, with a strong focus on South India. You will run distribution like your own business: fast, accountable and commercially sharp.

What you will own

Delivery performance: Ensure every daily order is delivered within SLA, and fix the root causes when it isn't.
Network expansion: Identify gaps and appoint new distributors wherever coverage requires.
Network optimisation: Restructure and rationalise the distributor network for better coverage, cost and efficiency.
Hygiene and compliance: Set and enforce distributor standards on stock, systems, reporting and statutory and commercial compliance.
Channel financials: Ensure timely distributor payments and channel funding so supply is never held up by working-capital gaps.

Who we are looking for

12 to 18 years of experience in distribution or sales operations, with FMCG, paints, building materials or consumer durables preferred
Proven track record of managing multi-state distributor networks, with strong exposure to South India
Someone who acts first and escalates later, and can connect day-to-day execution to the larger business picture
An entrepreneurial operator, comfortable with ownership, ambiguity and P&L-linked decisions
Mature, credible leadership with distributors and internal teams alike
Strong command of distributor management systems, MIS and data-led decision making
MBA or equivalent preferred

Location: Chennai, with regular travel across India
