As the design anchor, you will build systems, raise the creative bar, eliminate operational chaos, and establish a design language that is consistent, scalable, and iconic.
What You'll Own
1. Design Vision
- Define and articulate the overall design strategy for the organization.
- Build a unified, cutting-edge visual system across all digital platforms.
- Lead upcoming brand refresh initiatives and long-term design system rollouts.
- Ensure impeccable craft quality across digital, print, product, and motion graphics.
2. Team & Design Operations
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers.
- Set up clear workflows, SLAs, and efficient request management systems.
- Build reusable templates, toolkits, and highly scalable processes.
- Foster a team culture centered around deep ownership, exceptional taste, and continuous learning.
3. Cross-Functional Impact
- Partner closely with editorial, product, marketing, video, and business leadership teams.
- Translate complex business objectives into a sharp, impactful creative direction.
- Masterfully balance speed and quality in a high-velocity, fast-paced content environment.
- Bring ultimate clarity and structural direction where there is ambiguity.
