Role Mission
Lead the design of world-class robotic systems — from concept detailed design manufacturing commissioning.
Your work will hit the ground, run in harsh reality, and change how industries operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Own mechanical design of robotics, AGVs, motion systems & precision inspection machines
- Lead a high-ownership team of design engineers and build strong design culture
- Innovate mechanisms — lifting systems, actuators, tool changers, conveyors, camera rigs
- Ensure excellence in precision, manufacturability, safety & serviceability
- Execute engineering processes: DFMEA, simulations, prototype runs, field validation
- Collaborate with AI, Control & Electronics teams to ensure system integration
- Drive vendor development and ensure timely build readiness
- Documentation: design standards, BOMs, compliance & patents/IP
- Add capability in current team and expansion of design team
What You Bring
- 7–12 years in robotics / special-purpose machines / industrial product design
- Expert in SolidWorks
- Strong fundamentals in mechanisms, kinematics, GD&T & material science
- Proven team leadership & real shop-floor deployment experience
- Passion for solving impossible problems and iterating fast
Bonus:
- AGVs/AMRs, robot integrations, IP-rated design, sheet-metal mastery
- Experience with harsh industrial environments (dust, heat, vibration)
