Role Description The Head Of Department – Industrial Automation is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad. This role is responsible for leading the Industrial Automation department, including planning, delivering, and continuously improving training programs in automation, robotics, and process automation. The position involves managing and mentoring faculty and technical staff, overseeing curriculum design, ensuring alignment with industry standards, and integrating real-world applications and projects into the learning experience. The Head of Department will collaborate with industry partners, manage lab infrastructure and equipment, and support business development initiatives such as workshops, seminars, and corporate training programs. The role also includes monitoring learning outcomes, implementing quality assurance processes, and contributing to strategic planning for department growth.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Automation and Process Automation, with practical exposure to industrial systems and technologies.
- Hands-on experience in Robotics, including programming, integration, and maintenance of robotic systems.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, optimize processes, and solve complex automation-related problems.
- Proven Team Management abilities, including mentoring, workload planning, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in an academic, training, or technical leadership role within industrial automation or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools, PLCs, SCADA, industrial sensors, and control systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage learners and industry partners.
