The Company
Our client is a Mumbai-based automation and robotics company founded in 2005. They are market leaders and serve quick commerce, e-commerce, 3PL, fashion & apparel, F&B, pharma, electronics, renewable energy, and manufacturing.
Purpose
Lead the full commercial engine — Sales, Customer Success, and Solutioning — driving order intake, solution quality, and customer outcomes across company's automation and robotics portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales: Own sales strategy, pipeline, and order-intake targets across industries (e-commerce, 3PL, fashion, F&B, pharma, manufacturing); lead and grow the sales team.
- Solutioning: Lead pre-sales and solution design — translating customer material-flow challenges into company's automation, robotics, and software solutions with strong techno-commercial proposals.
- Customer Success: Own the post-order relationship — adoption, satisfaction, retention, references, and repeat/expansion business.
- Commercial leadership: Drive margin discipline, win-rate, and a structured, consultative B2B selling motion.
Ideal Candidate
- 12–18 years in B2B capital equipment / industrial automation / intralogistics sales, including solution selling.
- Proven ownership of a sizeable order book and leadership across sales + pre-sales/solutioning.
- Strong techno-commercial acumen; comfortable engaging CXO and operations buyers.
- Engineering background with MBA preferred.
