Role Summary
Algo8 AI is looking for an experienced Head of Delivery to lead the execution of Industrial AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Digital Transformation projects across multiple client engagements.
This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards. The Head of Delivery will lead and mentor Engagement Managers (EMs) and Project Managers (PMs), drive delivery excellence, manage project governance, and ensure timely achievement of billing milestones.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing multiple large-scale technology and engineering projects simultaneously, understands the unique execution challenges of AI and Data Science initiatives, and can build disciplined delivery processes while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
- Lead and oversee Engagement Managers and Project Managers across all client engagements.
- Drive project execution, monitor delivery progress, and ensure commitments are met.
- Identify delivery risks proactively and implement mitigation plans before they impact project timelines.
- Establish delivery governance and standardize execution practices across projects.
Quality Management
- Define and maintain delivery quality standards across all projects.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations before release.
- Review project health regularly and implement corrective actions wherever required.
- Take overall accountability for delivery quality across the organization.
Billing Milestone Management (Primary KPI)
- Own billing milestone planning and execution across every project.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure completed work is invoiced without delay.
- Monitor milestone progress and remove blockers affecting revenue realization.
- Drive accountability for timely milestone closures to support healthy cash flow.
Cost Management & Reporting
- Track project costs, utilization, and delivery performance.
- Maintain accurate project costing sheets and resource allocation data.
- Generate timely reports for Finance, HR, Sales, and Leadership.
- Ensure delivery profitability through effective cost control.
Resource Planning
- Plan and allocate resources across multiple ongoing projects.
- Balance staffing requirements while minimizing backend bench strength.
- Support hiring forecasts and transition planning.
- Optimize utilization across teams to improve operational efficiency.
Delivery Governance & Compliance
- Ensure timesheets, attendance, leave records, sprint updates, and project documentation remain accurate and up to date.
- Monitor compliance across Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and delivery teams.
- Conduct regular governance reviews to ensure process adherence.
Pre-Sales Support
- Review project scope, delivery plans, effort estimates, timelines, and resource requirements for new opportunities.
- Validate delivery feasibility before proposals are shared with clients.
- Collaborate with Sales and Solution teams during client discussions and proposal preparation.
Education
- MBA in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (Preferred).
- B.E. / B.Tech from a reputed institution in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related disciplines.
Certifications
- PMP (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience leading delivery in Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Operations Consulting, Technology Consulting, or Industrial AI organizations.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and leading managers (Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Delivery Leads).
- Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Digital Transformation, or Analytics projects is essential.
- Prior experience working with industrial clients is highly desirable.
Location & Travel
- Must be based in the Delhi NCR region.
- This is a full-time Work From Office role.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across India for 2–3 days as required.

- Strong Agile and Scrum delivery management experience.
- Expertise in sprint planning, project governance, and risk management.
- Experience in project estimation, costing, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Strong understanding of utilization management and delivery profitability.
- Ability to manage billing milestones and revenue realization.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using Zoho Sprints, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools.
