The Role
The Head of Technology & Operations - India is the senior-most technical and operational leader for Cleartelligence's Hyderabad organization. This role provides technical advisory leadership to India-based consulting teams while overseeing key operational functions including finance, HR, recruiting, and office operations.
Working closely with U.S. Portfolio Leads and Practice Directors, this leader supports solution design, assists with complex client engagements, and helps ensure India teams consistently deliver high-quality work.
This role is based in the Hyderabad office and requires a strong in-person leadership presence to support collaboration, mentorship, and team engagement
Key Responsibilities
Technical Advisory Leadership (35%)
This role brings a broad understanding of modern data and analytics ecosystems and provides technical leadership and guidance to consulting teams across a range of technologies and client engagements.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor for India-based consulting teams delivering data, analytics, and AI solutions
- Provide guidance across modern data and analytics technologies including:
- Cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
- BI & analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma)
- Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- AI and advanced analytics
- Support consulting teams by providing practical guidance on:
- Data platform implementation approaches
- Analytics engineering and BI best practices
- Performance, scalability, and cost considerations
- Troubleshooting complex technical or delivery challenges
- Act as a trusted technical sounding board for consultants working on complex client engagements, helping teams evaluate technical options and resolve challenges
- Collaborate with US Portfolio Leads and Practice Directors to ensure India teams remain aligned with Cleartelligence's technology partners and consulting methodologies
The emphasis of the role is on technical leadership, problem-solving, and mentorship across a diverse set of modern data technologies, helping teams deliver effective solutions rather than serving as a deep specialist in any single platform.
India Office Leadership, Finance, HR & Operations (25%)
- Serve as the senior leadership presence for the Hyderabad office
- Oversee key operational functions including:
- Financial planning and budgeting for the India organization
- Monitoring operational expenses and aligning budgets with company growth plans
- Coordination with Cleartelligence finance leadership on forecasting and financial reporting
- Partner with HR leadership on:
- Employee relations and performance management
- Alignment with global HR policies and processes
- Oversee office operations and administrative coordination
- Maintain a strong in-office leadership presence that promotes collaboration, mentorship, and engagement across the India consulting team
Client Delivery Enablement & Escalation Support (20%)
- Provide advisory support to consulting teams navigating complex delivery challenges
- Assist teams with:
- Architecture design refinement
- Performance and scalability considerations
- Delivery coordination across U.S. and India teams
- Serve as a senior escalation resource when delivery teams require additional technical guidance
Talent Development, Hiring & Recruitment (10%)
- Partner with recruiters and Practice Directors on:
- Candidate evaluations and technical interviews
- Architecture and consulting capability assessments
- Ensure hiring plans align with organizational growth objectives and approved budgets
- Mentor Team Leads and Technical Leads capable of guiding delivery teams and developing consultants
People Leadership & Culture (10%)
- Foster a consulting culture emphasizing ownership, accountability, and client impact
- Reinforce strong communication and collaboration between India and U.S. delivery teams
- Support performance management and recognition in partnership with HR and global leadership
- Help strengthen Cleartelligence's culture and engagement across the India organization
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a seasoned leader with a passion for analytics, solution architecture, technical mentorship, and consulting leadership. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: 15+ years in technology, data, or analytics consulting with experience leading teams delivering complex client solutions
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of modern data and analytics architectures with experience guiding teams designing scalable solutions across data platforms, BI tools, and cloud ecosystems
- Architecture Mindset: Ability to evaluate solution architectures and advise teams on best practices across modern data and analytics technologies
- Delivery Leadership: Experience supporting consulting teams on complex client engagements and helping resolve technical challenges
- Operational Leadership: Experience overseeing hiring, organizational development, budgeting, or operational planning within a consulting or technology organization
