HEAD OF DATA ENGINEERING [Hands-On Builder]

The Role:

This is a HANDS-ON Head role. You will own and build data projects end-to-end, coding yourself. You will work directly with Sr. Execs who are very proficient in Data Engineering and will groom you to be a world-class leader. You must know to architect and build scalable medallion architecture and etl-elt pipelines

High-energy and growth mindset is non-negotiable. Leader by Example , not a delegator.

Must-Have - Super Proficient:

- Data Core: Expert SQL / PL/SQL + Deep RDBMS Internal Architecture knowledge [Oracle or any RDBMS]. You understand execution plans, indexing, partitioning, storage engines.

- Modern Stack: Python [for Data + AI], Business Intelligence, Dialogflow CX / ES.

- AI & Next-Gen DB: Proven production experience with Vector Databases, Sparse Indexes, RAG pipelines, Embeddings.[pgvector][Oracle graph n autonomous][cosmos db etc]

- Cloud-Native: Hyperscaler experience is a must. Strong preference for OCI or GCP stack: BigQuery, BigTable, Firebase / Firestore.

Else Aws or Azure equivalent

Profile:

7-10 years max experience.

Young, hungry, hands-on builder.

Master's degree preferred.

Must hold a Professional-level Certification in Database / Cloud [e.g., GCP Professional Data Engineer, Oracle OCP].
